Dr. Allison received her pre-medical science degree in Nutrition from the University of Texas in Austin, TX, with additional coursework in exercise physiology, human performance research and advanced sports nutrition.
Dr. Allison received her doctorate from Bastyr University, an internationally renowned integrative naturopathic medical school in Seattle, WA. She is a certified practitioner of the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health founded by Dr. Nasha Winters.
Philosophy of Care
I believe in, and have repeatedly witnessed, the innate ability of the body to heal itself. I believe the way we nourish ourselves with food and hydration, thoughts, community and chosen activities, influences our health outcomes more than anything. It is my goal to empower patients to create a path to healing. I love seeing people evolve to a place of feeling optimistic and in control of how they feel and live.

Dr. Rachel Kushner
Naturopathic Physician
Dr. Kushner is a naturopathic physician and an expert in integrative medicine, blending natural therapeutics with the latest medical research. Dr. Kushner earned her naturopathic medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Arizona and received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to relocating to Hawaii in 2016, Dr. Kushner practiced in North Carolina, and continues to provide consultations to her North Carolina patients through telehealth.

After graduating with her BSN from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee, she started her nursing career on a busy medical-surgical floor in Colorado. Knowing Naturopathic Medicine was her goal from the beginning, she sought out Elevate Health when she moved to Oahu in the new year of 2025.
